K2 Stylist is finalist of Avant Garde Competition.

STYLIST Casey Reynolds, of K2 The Salon, Bear Lanes, Newtown, with her model when she reached the finals of a huge regional hairdressing competition in Wolverhampton this month.

The competition was judged by the renowned celebrity hairdresser Patrick Cameron. Casey competed with many other hairdressers from all over the midlands. She had to style and present her model to Patrick and the other judges with a mood board, ready for the catwalk later in the evening! Casey really enjoyed showing her hairdressing skills off to a different audience and being able to style the hair in a more advent – garde fashion for the catwalk competition

2 of our finest trainee hairdressers came in the top 3 of this years "employer engagement event" held by Wolverhampton College in August 2009.

2nd place: below Casey Reynolds (17) of Newtown

3rd place: below Lucie Ainge (17) of Shrewsbury

Both trainee stylists are currently completing their apprenticeships with K2 the Salon. The final was held at the Park House Hotel Shifnal on 3rd August 2009.

They both show a lot of promise and we wish them all the best for their future careers – WELL DONE!

Casey Reynolds of K2 Newtown have
both reached the finals of the blow drying section for employer engagement 2009 event.

Both trainee stylists are currently completing their modern apprenticeships with K2 the Salon. The final will be held at the Park House Hotel Shifnal on 3rd August 2009 and we wish them the best of luck :).
