PRESS RELEASE - Firms Promote Busineses together

"Firms Promote businesses together

Two Shrewsbury businesses are to launch a campaign to provide incentives and unique offers to customers.

Eden Lounge nightclub in castle Foregate, and K2 The Salon in the Darwin Shopping Centre, will be launching a range of loyalty cards, drinks & beauty treatment vouchers at the start of September.

The promotion will also see regular competitions and prize draws as well as a series of events including charity fashion shows. Jo Stephens, Director and Salon manager at K2 THE SALON, said they were excited to be teaming up with another Shrewsbury business to work together and boost sales.

She said: “this is the first time we have embarked on this sort of venture and we’re quite excited by the prospect. “All the staff at the salon have enjoyed evenings out at Eden so I can confidently recommend the club to clients.

“Having previously worked on fashion shows and in conjunction with either a local clothes store or designer, Eden would provide the venue and K2thesalon would be able to do hair styling for a series of charity fundraising events throughout the year.”

“we are looking forward to a long affiliation with Eden.”

Stelios Kakkindiris, owner of Eden said: “ Affiliate marketing is an effective way of promoting businesses that complement each other.”

Jo Stephens Director of K2 says….

Jo Stephens Manager of K2 and director of Kameo group says…

“I love fashion and working in this modern salon keeps me in touch with the latest trends.

When your hair is looking fabulous, you will feel great. A red carpet hairstyle is created when you work with your stylist, I recommend building a good relationship with your stylist, you will benefit in the long term.

Its the christmas party season and for a special night out, I like to add a hairpiece to create extra volume in my hair. K2 will match your hairpiece so it will blend perfectly with your natural colour. I also use fresh flowers or other accessories in my hair to help create that perfect party style.

The difference between a good and fabulous do is all to do with the expertise of your stylist. K2 stylists are aware each client is individual so offer a free detailed consultation taking into account hair texture and face shape. To keep up to the minute with the latest trends stylists are regularly sent on training courses in London.

I feel the key for creating that perfect style is to recognise that everyone is individual. Just because that one style looks great in the magazine won’t necessarily mean it will suit you. Before making any hasty decisions I recommend booking in for a free consultation at K2 to help advise you on creating your perfect style."

"Happy Christmas and all the best for 2008! Cheers!" Jo
